I think this scene especially (and the scene just before he takes her back to Comstock house) shows the most how much Songbird was genuinely protective of and cared for Elizabeth. After all, he was pretty much her ‘parent’ (feeding her, bringing her books etc. Elizabeth even says he was all she had) and guardian (despite being controlled and a violently destructive force not to be messed with). In a way, he was a victim almost as much as Elizabeth was. Except he couldn’t escape from it like Elizabeth did/was doing.

I wish Songbird wasn’t transported with them to Rapture, but I suppose in his death, he’s finally free. This scene hits me right in the feels every time.

So tired…I was squinting when I drew this DX …I still dunno if I’m drawing her right, only from what I remember…Seems to look somewhat different to my last attempt lol. Anyway, another random doodle? WIP I guess…I like Elizabeth’s facial expressions, even when she’s just walking about. Her eyes really stand out too. I guess she looks sombre here…or forlorn even? idk, it started out as an eye lol.

I just finished Bioshock Infinite (normal, PS3). I’m full of so many WTFs and feels at the moment I had to let it out here lol. I…I feel like I got trolled somehow, IDK…but WOW what a game! I feel content and discontent at the ending…or just confused and not confused at the same time?!? …but…yeah… I finally finished this beast. Such a gorgeously designed game and I adore the steam punk theme. Visuals, characters, voice acting, etc everything really made this game an even more enjoyable experience than I thought. (This coming from a newbie to the Bioshock games and not that much of an FPS gamer….) :p Definitely worth checking out if you’ve not done so already ;)

Keeping up with the pace of internet meme development might just be a hobby unto itself. Last week we saw the rise of Japanese schoolgirls using photography to unleash Dragon Ball Z Makankosappo and Kamehameha energy attacks on each other. Then came the awesomeness that is Vadering.

Now, just days later, another creative photography meme has taken the Internets by storm. This time it’s Japanese teens taking photos in which they appear to be flying on broomsticks to play Quidditch, the fast and furious fictional sport from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe.

According to Kotaku’s Brian Ashcraft:

“Japanese schoolboys, it seems, are now uploading photos of imaginary Quidditch games. Quidditch, of course, is the broomstick-based team sport from the Harry Potter books. Why “imaginary”? There already are Muggle versions of Quidditch, that’s why.

In Japan, students are responsible for cleaning their classrooms and also the school itself (for baseball players, this would also mean the field and the clubhouse). Thus, students have easy access to brooms, making phony games of Quidditch possible.”

The knowledge that these boys are supposed to be doing school chores when they’re staging these playful photos somehow makes them even more awesome.

Now that we seem to be in the midst of a hot creative streak, does anyone care to guess what the next photo meme might be?

Pardon the messiness, it’s been a while since I’ve done any digital painting…! As I mentioned in an earlier post, my hdd went kaput and i’ve lost ALL of my art wips (including LoK and other fanart wips), as well as other important stuff. I’m in the process of trying to figure out how to get my files off my hdd, but so far no luck. Aaanyway, I’m gutted about that, and haven’t really been in the mood to draw mostly cos of stressing out about my hdd… In the meantime I’ve been using Ubuntu off my usb flash drive, and have managed to download GIMP… It’s been a long time since I last used it, I’m so used to CS5 lol…but hey, can’t complain (and it’s free!). So til I can save up to buy a new hdd etc, and get things as close to normal as I can, this’ll have to do… Pardon the ranting, I’m really tired DX
